01. CMS websites in Leicester

Drivers Pickles have been established since 1906. The journey of over 100 years has been an incredible one. Before we dive into the project, we’d like to give recognition for how inspiring a legacy like that is and how honoured we are to become a part of it. When Drivers first got in touch, we visited them and discussed exactly what they’re trying to achieve. This is by far the most important part of any project, as without knowing exactly what needs to be achieved, we could never provide a satisfactory job. Our CMS websites in Leicester based team then got to work and began designing exactly what the end product was going to look like.

02. Working Progress

Once the design outlays were complete, our development team got to work. At KS, we feel it’s important for the client to be updated regularly throughout the project and at key stages. Why? Well, two reasons. Firstly, it allows the client to make any recommendations or change request along the way to reduce the amount of editing at the end of the process. Secondly, when a client is investing a large amount of money into a property, we like to relieve any anxiety or doubt of the project and present the growth and progress accordingly.

03. Falling into place

Once the main structure of the website is complete, it was time to start adding the products. Whilst we offer this service, the client and KS came to the agreement that Drivers will add the products themselves. We did this because the website was built on a CMS platform (content management system) and agreed it would be beneficial for Drivers to become familiar with how the systems works as they plan on self-maintaining the website once it’s complete.

What are

CMS Websites in Leicester?

A content management system (CMS) is a software application or set of related programs that are used to create and manage digital content. Once the website has been developed by professionals, it allows the client to update, edit and change elements of the website without the technical know-how.  CMSes are typically used for enterprise content management (ECM) and web content management (WCM). An ECM facilitates collaboration in the workplace by integrating document management, digital asset management and records retention functionalities, and providing end users with role-based access to the organisation’s digital assets.
